That's a B32-8WH with a P42DC cab!

I looked up those BQ23-7's and I think I'm scarred for life! !*roll-laugh*! That was aweful! What was GE thinking? I think the idea for that one must have come from the office New Years party!

The idea for the cab was to be able to seat up to 5, when cabeese were no longer going to be used. I have only seen them on the point of 2 or 3 trains. I always said that even Family Lines were embarassed. Only 10 made and only Family Lines bought them. Ugly as a mud fence dobbed with terrapins. You will notice that the pic above does not show the unit on the point. The MU and signal air hoses are connected at the front.

Nice! I love that Carolina Southern! We have a lot of those old UP's out here, but they are all now Pacific Harbor Lines units, doing shunting basically.
