You got my attention for sure. I'm on the fence. If somebody wants it more than me, it will be snapped up before I make a decision.

Please post here when it's been sold so people know. !!howdy!!

UPDATE: The Raildriver I bought from miata54 arrived today. It was missing the power supply and a 3.5mm audio cord. About the power supply....he doesn't remember it ever being in the box. Either that or he misplaced it cuz it was listed in the booklet as being included. Not a huge deal cuz I was never likely to use it for the built in sub-woofer rumble effect. Most people don't use it. I have the specs if I really want it from Radio Shack. He offered to send me the forgotten 3.5mm cord, but why waste the postage on something I'm not gonna likely use. Again...there's Radio Shack if I need it.

In the end...it doesn't matter. He wasn't trying to screw me over.... just merely forgotten. The meat of it was there... the RailDriver, booklet, installation disc and original box. They were all very clean and in EXCELLENT CONDITION! So I wanted to present good positive feedback for the guy. He was very nice!

Ah yes.... but I didn't start out a satisfied customer when I got it cuz it's not exactly as plug and play as I had expected. I had to dig into some of it's folders to find the calibration software. Then once I did, it didn't work in Railworks until I loaded it's template. In Run 8 you have to use Run 8's calibration since the sim was built with RailDriver support included. I could get everything to work except throttle. Then after many tries I finally figured out the problem was me......I had forgotten to put the isolation switch to RUN! !DUH! !*roll-laugh*! Haven't tried it in Trainz 12 yet.

I'm gonna have to play around with it because the potentiometers are touchy and you have to calibrate them in a way that makes them function ideally.

So in the final verdict...... very good condition, very good price, very good seller.... and a very happy customer! Thanks miata54! !!*ok*!! !*YAAA*!

Glad you got it sorted out GSkid. I'm sure it will provide you with many hours of entertainment. I'm still scratching my head over that power supply. I honestly can't remember whether I ever had one or not as I never intended to use the built in sub woofer anyway. I never throw anything away that is electronic/electric in nature and there was not one in my parts bin. !*don-know!*

Thanks for the positive feedback. *!!thnx!!*

Hi GSKid, On my Rail Driver, the Audio cord is part of the unit and has a green plug and is designed to plug into the speaker port on the back of your system unit. You then need to plug your speakers into the green port on the back of the Rail Driver unit. At least that is the setup on my Rail Driver. On my system the audio cord is located right beside the USB cable you plug into your system unit. I know this sounds like a silly question, but is there a brown folded cardboard box with a white cardboard box in side it located on the right hand side of the shipping box? On my system the transformer is located within that white cardboard box. The name on the transformer is "AHEAD AC ADAPTOR" Class 2 Transformer with a output of 11 VDC 1400 milliamp. Do you get the updated software from the PI Engineering website? http://www.raildriver.com/support/downloads.php They've updated the Macroworks application, my version is Macroworks 3.1 version 1.1.1.42 Hope this helps?

Regards,
Rich S.
