This is rediculous.

Discussion about RailWorks route design.

This is rediculous.

What is with this? This is supposed to be a smooth grade. And straight track. I try as hard as I can to place the track according to the decals. Yet I still end up with an un-smooth jagged mess. Is there a right way to place track? I'm getting very frustrated. Is there a comprehensive, in-depth tutorial, like Papa's tutorial on locomotive creation? If so, I would be his biggest fan. Is there an experienced route builder who can coach me?

Looks like you might have had the Snap to Terrain button ticked when you were putting that together.

You might find some of the points in this thread of interest. (Especially mine... :D )

I thought I was supposed to use that. When I don't use it, I get a whole bunch of gaps under the track. What do I do about all the gaps?

You can raise the terrain to the track. The icon looks like a magnet. Experiment dude.
