Now that you mention it, I've been wanting to propose two ideas for some time, not very original because it's been done on several forums before, but still useful:
1- A forum titled "Information for new players (read this first!)"
This forum would contain threads with subjects such as "How to get the game", "What are add-ons", "Where to get add-ons", "Tutorials", "Manuals", "Historical information", "Troubleshooting", etc.
2- A forum tiled "Information for new authors, builders and editors" (RWA developer's manual)
This forum would contain threads with subjects such as "Getting started", "Manuals", "Tutorials", "Tools", "Tips and tricks", "Sources", etc.
These forum would be for posting information, not for discussion or troubleshooting.

I just found out today that you can change type in the scenario editor and I havebeen writing them for a few years now. But it is your route. I did what I wanted to on mine, so I can''t fault you for doing it your way on yours. A lot of work goes into these routes and you really don't need nitpickers nagging you.
