I've been using one for a while. When 2013 came out with game controller support, I tried that, but liked the Raildriver better. It makes it possible to have finer control, particularly over the brakes. All functions are available through the buttons also, so I never use the keyboard.

But, it does take up desk space. And, lately, I've started using the game controller again. There are things it does better, like view control. I've thought about selling the Raildriver but can't make up my mind. It works with most of the locos in the game, but not all, although it can be set up however you want and I've changed some functions to work better with the Class 86, and it's tap driver, for instance.

I hate the HUDs, and prefer to drive with the RD or by moving the actual controls in the cab with the mouse.

If you have any specific questions, ask away.

Those of you that own a Raildriver, do they work with any of the EMU's like the Class 390 or ICE3M? Are the keys re-programmable to fit these units or are you stuck with one control method?
