Looks cool and all but...What happened to all the other liveries? SP, PRR, ATSF?

Love to see the PRR and possibly a PC repaint to put those bad boys to work on the Horse Shoe Curve!

I hope we're looking at individual packs with new freight equipment for each road name. I love the new UP stock that came with the UP SD45.

Personally, the SP will be the most fun for me. There's something special about SP that I love :)

A very big thanks. Great engine.
Still would like to add Krellnuts wagon sounds to the freight cars, there very quiet (too quiet).

When the development for the SD-45 was announced,I pictured in my mind,a pack in the vein of the GP-9. I now realize RSC is not going to do that anymore. A specific variation will be developed for a route, and you will have to buy each route-specific engine. Now I know Lord M. is creating the meshes, but RSC controls what is released. So now I wonder if there is any chance of a high short hood. I see RSC is releasing a Southern Heritage Pack, with two other engines. That would be an opportunity to have a Southern/NW SD-45 in that pack. I am not trying to quell the enthusiasm on the UP SD-45,I just am stating RSC strayed away from what I felt was a great idea in releasing a "variety pack" of locomotives. I fear we will never see that again......... Joe

BNSFdude...... now THAT sounds more like an EMD. You CAN make a decent 2-stroke after all!!! Well done!!! I'll save final judgement for when I've purchased it. Gonna wait for now because I went super crazy on steam purchases over thanksgiving. I mean....I bought a boatload of DLC.... PLUS a bunch of other games including Trainz 12. The horn sounds really good too.

The size of the numbers on the side of the loco are WAAAAY too big. Just look at old photos of UP locos and they are actually about the same font size as the Union Pacific lettering above them in real life. Otherwise it seems to be an excellent SD45 reproduction I agree that it needed more then one livery....Espee-cially ( *!!wink!!* ) the Southern Pacific RR. !!*ok*!!

Of course being an EMD foamer....it's a must buy for me. Now if somebody could make an SD45X (my favorite loco of all time!!! Just slightly ahead of the DDA40X for me), I would be totally ecstatic.

Personally...if I had owned EMD back then, I would have made a DDA45X which would have basically been a stretched DDA40X with two of the SD45X's 20-cylnder engines in it outputting a total of 8400HP!!! Ahhh.. but it was not to be. *!sad!*

EMD 2-strokes rule! My all time favorite: SD45X also love the SD40-2/SD40T-2/SD45-2/SD45T-2/DD35A/DDA40X/SD70ACe/SD80ACe

Southern Pacific RR! Bloody nose/Serif lettering - Donner Pass/Tehachapi Pass/Cajon Pass/UP Coast Line
