ATSF Passenger F-Unit Update

Unread postby Bananarama » Tue Oct 30, 2012 9:00 am

An update is available for our ATSF Passenger F-Units, which can be downloaded from the private forum section to those who purchased the set from 3DTrains. If you're a Steam user and already have access to the private forum section (as when purchasing one of our other products), you can also download the update as it doesn't require a keycode, but be aware that Steam may overwrite the update at a later time.

Update includes:
- Rain effects.
- Updated LUA scripts.
- Headlights added.

Also note that none of the Rail Simulator files have been updated. The above mentioned files are only applicable to Railworks TS2012 and TS2013.
Cheers!

Marc, I do not fully understand.

I have bought the F7 set separately thought Steam in 2011 before it was integrated in TS2012. It has been carried over to TS2013 but since I have been concentrating on the new routes, I haven't run the Warbonnet F7's for quite some time.
Does this mean the F7's have not yet been updated to TS2012 standards and are only updated today by you yourself?

I am not a route builder so have not bought any other assets from 3D Trains up till now. I do have a forum login, but probably no private area access.
So I am out of the official update to the F7 if I understand correctly?

The default ATSF F7's should already have the updated features. However, I forgot that Steam updates of the F7 set won't be available as the set was pulled Aug 2011 in preparation for the launch of TS2012, so I'll probably need to make the update available to all. I'll set this up first chance later today.
Cheers!

To cover those who have the Steam version, and that it likely will never be updated, the update is now available to anyone a member of the 3DTrains forum, which can be downloaded from the following post:

Found the right page:
The download for TS2012/TS2013 customers of the update to 3DTrains' ATSF F7 set is here: http://www.3dtrains.com/forums/index.ph ... =18039&hl=
18039 instead of 18038 apparently.
