Throwing a crossover

Unread postby fluteman70 » Fri Aug 17, 2012 3:35 pm

Am I correct if moving forward and you want to throw a crossover, one press "G". If moving backwack, then it is "ctrl & G"? In MSTS there was a popup that showed the direction of the switch. Does one exiist for Railsim?
TIA

Shift+G for the junction behind. !!*ok*!! Give a look into the Manual, there are a lot of other functions, controls, features and hotkeys. *!!wink!!*

Make sure that at a crossover you align both turnouts. Both do not change with one cntl G.

You can use the mini map to throw switches too. The blue dots on the mini map are the crossovers(press 9 to open the mini map). Press and hold Shift while left clicking the dots to throw the switch. The black line behind the blue dots, shows the direction of the turnout. Hope this helps.
