Hi,

Generally I work by setting the terrain as I go, and I creat a path in GE that follows the track like this.

Very similar to what i'm doing with the markers. The only difference is i'm placing mine directlyin the middle of the track and marking north south east and west boundaries for yards.. but your GE doesnt look like mine with the camerasd there, so i need to go back and make sure i read the instructions of how to do this again..

That looks gorgeous. It also looks very confusing.. I'm gonna have to take it slow; just one step at a time.. I'm smart, but i dont learn things so very quickly.. :(

RailWorksDepot: You still have to lay out all the tracks by yourself right? I would love to see an automated tool for this, cause right now I have some troubles with (I guess) some very basic stuff: How do I connect these two tracks? Cause if I come from the left track, there is no way to create a junction with the right one. It just places buffers. So coming from the junction to the second track was my way, but if I want to connect those my whole railway jumps around wildly through the countryside...
Where is my mistake here?

Edit: It was late yesterday, please forgive me... After another short look onto the tutorials it's clear now *!embar*!

Oh and so that you have something to look at: my first station in an pre-alpha stage and for viewing convenience without ground decal and only little texturing ;)

And yes it's right that there is no station building, it's just a platform with some shelters. This is going to be a regional passenger line near my hometown in western Germany with about 45km length of track going through industrial areas, crossing the river Rhine, going through a capital city and again into some countryside hills passing the famous Neandertal. At least this is the plan *!lol!*
