Sure. It would add some variety. So far I have to take pictures from Google Street view, deskew them, and force them on :)

There's a big pile of these torn up in Apex, I have pics if you want them.

This is a different type, but maybe you could get it to work. As far as I know, this is the only crossing in town with this type of crossing. This track is used maybe once a week or once every month or so.

Sorry if they will not load for you, if so I will try to shrink them even more so they can be uploaded via attachment.

The last shot had some promise, but its not looking that good once I get it into PhotoShop. Since there is no steel frame around the concrete, can you take a picture looking straight down at it in five or six places so I can tile the texture (in PS)? Make sure you get a few from the center of the crossing as well as from the ends. I want may be able to recreate the dirt to clean effect.

@SCLALINE: I kinda wanted to retexture the pads I have rather than try to remodel them...

I put them in the game anyway... I they actually look good. *!lol!*

Update... this texture is growing on me. Yes I conceed that it would look better with the rubber, but this is still pretty nice:

umm... yea... I think I know where I can use those...

I think I will redo the base model to include the rubber strip. If you find any other interesting pads which would make for interesting textures don't hesitate to post them. For a repainter having a good portfolio of textures is like owning gold.
