BNSF650- I'll see what I can do in the near future. Gonna focus on my route for a little while once I'm done with the CNW's though.

Soo Line pack is almost ready to go. Should have it to Hawk within the day.

I couldn't help myself with em, I love em! I live about 3-4 minutes from UP's (ex-CNW) Butler Yard. Every so often when I drive/bike/whatever on the bridge that goes over the yard, I'll see an ex-CNW unit at the diesel ramps. Makes me wish I was around to see the NorthWestern in her prime.

Once I get one half of my route out of the way I'll try some BN stuff and am planning some Milwaukee Road stuff.

Well, if I ever make it out of the planning stages for my route they will have a happy home to roam the prairies on.

Hawk now has the SOO SD40-2 10 pack, beginning more work on the CNW units. Hopefully I can use autonumbering on them. Just have to figure out how to relocate the numbers to the long hood rather than on the cab.

since you are doing a soo pack, why not make some CP locos to go along with them in another pack for modern ops.

I think you will need Kali's magic number trick to do this (it would be awseome if you could)

I tried one, decided to keep this pack pure SOO, but in time I'll get to CP for sure. Tryin' to find a usable CP Rail Dual Flags logo is tough though, may have to make my own.

Weird hours at work today allowed me to go railfanning for a good chunk of the day, traffic was slow due to work crews replacing switch heaters on the CP, and the CN likes to run most of their trains in the morning, before the sun comes up now that the days are getting shorter. So....what better to do in the dead hours than work on my route? Then I realized steam wasn't going to let me on seeing as I had no internet connection, so I turned to painting. These are all just WIP, but I plan on touching them up. I might do a few more SD40-2's and release a pack. I'm going to do more repaints of default stock and release them with the Horn Lake route, unless people want them ahead of time.

Ok, time for the first constructive critisism on your early WIP stuff lol

the only major problem i can see so far is on the CN hopper.....

1. the CN noodle logo is too square and needs to have a more rectangular feel to it, its usualy something like 2 high by 3 wide if you know what i mean?
2. the CN reporting marks are a bit too bold and too big, take it down a coupple of sizes and you should be golden!

ok now a very minor request, same thing but on the 3 and/or 4 bay hoppers?

not being an expert on cp locos and all, but didn't the SD40-2's in CP have black on top of the nose?

I know parts are off, the CN was the first one I did, the text for the reporting mark is wrong too, will fix em up. And I think you're right about the CP units. I went off my own reference pictures, since at the time I had no internet, and none of my shots got high enough up to see the top of the low hood . I'll tweak em all. Workin on the tedious task of working up my own CP Dual Flags logo as well.

OK, as far as I know, as long as you have run Steam and Railworks on that PC (laptop) before, and fire up Windows with no Internet, when Steam loads, it will tell you there is no Internet connection, and do you want to continue in off line mode.
