AEM-7 problem solved!

Unread postby styckx » Thu Sep 01, 2011 11:16 pm

For a while now I couldn't pin point it but... Something was wrong with the AEM-7 provided to us from RSC.

Something just... Didn't look right.. I couldn't figure it out for the longest time.. I was looking at the curves, window shape, everything and it just didn't strike me.

Then tonight.. Like a slap in the back of the head from an angry girlfriend because I forgot our anniversary it hit me.

Dirt. It was missing that caked in, blotchy, a million miles of funk dirt.

NOW it looks like the AEM-7 I know and love.

So much better than the whiteout. I thought it was the sun from the packaged route caused this. I changed it to Armstrong Powerhouse weather system and it helped out a bit, but it was still to white. Looks like you got it. I think the Amfleets are suffering as well.

Mmm that's better. Now go fill the amfleet alpha channels with some clouds, and that'll sort them out right proper like too.

Yeah, the Amfleets alpha channel was playing with fire.. All white alphas with Railworks death sun is asking for trouble. !*roll-laugh*!

Cut it down to a grey and it's an improvement. Can't do much more because Railworks soul sucking shadows will kill it too much. :)
