I do not know if double posting is allowed (I have been in forums where there wasn’t a rule forbidding double posting listed int he rules, but it was still a rule), but even if it isn’t, I feel this is important: another route that freezes the loading screen is the Adriana County Lawson Brnach route.

It's OK any information given might help solve the problem.

Well I installed v78.6 (Beta) and still crashes and caused me big delays all over so I have reverted back to v77.6b as this works with most of my DLC.

I don´t know if this applies to Blackwood Creek: !*don-know!*
Do you remember Workshop Minerman´s route New York Division - Bergen Line?
Every time he made an update (and he did many times), he advised to delete the entire route, before installing the newly updated route from scratch.

Deleted and installed a version that I had and was working from the end of 2023. Still the same issue. Could this be caused by corruption in the assets folders associated with this route?

I've just loaded Adriana County v2.0, which includes the Lawson Branch (and everything else) with no problem. Some Soldier Summit assets didn't show so i unzipped the .ap file and all's well.

Interesting. Maybe there's a problem with .ap file handling in recent versions.
Someone with problems with Blackwood Creek should try unzipping the .ap file.

I do not have any .ap files in any of my current versions of Blackwood Creek. Besides, I copied over a once working version from a backup dated in December 2023 and it now CTD as well. There were a few assets added in the latest versions. Could any of those be causing issues if any are corrupted?

Well when i tried to load V2.0, it freezes and doesn’t resume loading.

Can you please tell me how you did that?

Have you checked (TS Tools Route Check) you have all the requirements. I have been running the route for the last few days catching up on scenarios I haven't run for awhile.

I'll admit, I am missing the assets I've highlighted in the image below, and another one called strid grain, ones I've not been able to find, but in spite of that, the route previously loaded for me despite this. Yet now it never loads at all

I'm reasonably sure the signals are in the Kuju .ap so they shouldn't be a problem and the other two objects should not cause the route to not load so I think we are dealing with another issue. If you don't mind spending the time one thing you can try is make a new free roam with no rolling stock of any kind and see if that loads. It will help to locate what the issue might be.

Strid Grain is only a sign hanging on an elevator, you wouldn't notice it not being there. It's a sentimentality of mine - Strid Grain were a customer of the long gone Green Bay & Western.
The Peterbilt is only a vehicle and shouldn't cause any problem not being present and the engine shed is at the yard and agin shouldn't cause a problem if not present.

Unfortunately, the signals aren't in the AP file: I did look, none were labeled CnO, only US Def2. As for creating a free roam with no stock, I'll give that a shot.

Well there’s a new Blackwood creek revised problem now: whenever I try to load it, it just closes. There’s no out of memory message or anything, it just shuts down the game. No idea what causes it, there are a few other routes it happened with. One of them, even more oddly, is the Fort Kent route available on steam
