Tunnel Decals

Anyone have any tips for those tunnel decals? How do you eliminate the terrain disappearing on the sides/top of the tunnel entrance? Thanks.

Thank you for that boss. The tunnel decals now have the black section, but all around the decal is sections with broken lines, that makes it very difficult to get right. I guess I'll continue to play on a test section.
