EMD GP30 AOK

Is this model the newer DTM GP30 or the older model? I can't find a link for a DTM GM GP30 CS. I got a older model model of the CS unit, but the shape file from it wouldn't work for the AOK units.

What is the date on that Geo you have for the GP30 CS version? And do you have the BO loco?

Geo for the CS version says 5-24-2017. I have all the older GP30 models and some repaints. Only newer GP30 models I have are the UP, SP, and SSW. I have the BO model and it too has a Geo with a date 5-24-2017.

Mine is dated 10-19-2017 and is 4975 KB. The CS one and the BO one seem to be interchangeable just rename the BO one to CS.
Check to see if you have this in the right place AOK,2,3 should be in Assets\DTM\GM GP30 CS\RailVehicles folder not in the Diesel folder like normal.

The size of my Geo says 4050 KB. Now, the newer DTM model, (No idea when it came out) has a Geo that is 4948 KB. All the newer models use a Geo named GP30_02. Can I use the newer Geo?

The files for the AOK units are in the right folders and NOT placed in the Diesel folder.

The newer DTM CS GP30 is what's needed to make these engines work. I bought the model last night for $5 on Steam. https://store.steampowered.com/app/6232 ... ery_AddOn/

"...is what's needed to make these engines work" meaning what?
That marketplace loco you bought is only a repaint.

So I am going to chime in on this. I am in the process of doing some GP30 re-paints. I did purchase the B&O unit,as I do model the B&O/Chessie era on my route. The B&O/Chessie units clearly state you need the DTM UP add- on to work. So I am concluding that people using the later units for re-paints MUST want the alternate horn placement, and no beacon? Are the geos any different, except for the differences I have noted? Maps seem to be interchangeable,so far. My repaints will be based on the UP model,at this point. Just curious.
