Western Pacific U23B

We have Silver units, and the most recent Orange nosed units....... but what about the ones in between? Very similar to the "Green" geeps in the enhanced route, the GE U23B's had the exact same stripe schemes.... Buzz, I know you can make short work of this!! FYI, these are not my photos, just examples. !*cheers*!

Could use the BN U25B or the FRCE U30B, though the U25B would be a closer match the WP inventoried U23Bs.

“… 15 2250 h.p. Model U23B locomotives. The units, Nos. 2251-65, worked their way west from Erie, Pa., during May and June 1972. Equipped with Model FDL-12 turbocharged diesel engines, the order came with EMD Blomberg trucks from trade-ins. These units were equipped with dual controls but lacked nose signal lights and pilot plows. The U23B’s were real all purpose units, finding uses on the main lines (especially the “High Line” for which they were purchased). They were also found to be effective in local and switching service.”

That unit is already available....and why wouldn't use just use the unit provided in the pack? I am talking about the units I posted above.

Engine 3051 shown above is a U30B - not a U23B.

#2251-2265 were U23B
#3051-3071 were U30B

“During the time of delivery of the U23’s WP renumbered the U30B’s into the 3051-3071 number series, a project that was designed to put the locomotives in a number range related to horsepower capabilities.”

Well...once again, I was actually talking about the U23B, which we have a U23B...and the photos I posted where a U23B. I do not know why anyone would use the U25B, which looks nowhere near a 23 or a 28.

There's a U30B in the sim, which is what comes with both Feather River routes. There isn't a U23B for this game in any form (sadly).
