He also uses vegetation from here. https://www.vulcanproductions.co.uk/rb.html It's freeware.

Pick an area where you are experiencing this, and I can probably pick out which ground texture is supposed to be there. Post here, or send the coordinates of such a location.

Here's a couple from around Alliance.

It looks like you don't own 3DTrains' Tehachapi Pass Route, which is currently unavailable at the moment. It is easily confused with the Dovetail version of Tehachapi which is completely different from the 3DTrains one.

Assets are posted a few posts back.

In the example by the Alliance yard tower, you are missing the 'Asphalt02 - Dark Smooth Asphalt' texture from the 3dTrains Tehachapi route. As you didn't post the coordinates for the other photo, I can't check that exact location, but it would likely be another Tehachapi texture. Download, Unzip, and install the asset pack Buzz posted above. Clear your cache, then you should be good to go.

Haven't cleared my cache in a long time. I'll try that.

I did download the files and installed them as directed, that's why I'm surprised to still have this issue.

So I re downloaded, re installed the folders to the right place..

(since I didn't previously have a folder named "Tehachapi", I just made a new folder and named it that. I don't know if that causes a problem)

.. I also cleared my cache from the settings menu, but I'm still getting the same result with missing ground textures and track models. I agree it's probably just the 3DTrains missing files, so I'm not sure if I'm missing something else, or just oblivious to how to properly install these files.

Thanks for any assistance.

(I do have Soldier Summit, Sherman Hill, Stevens Pass, and the RCAP pack. As far as I know, the only thing I'm missing is the 3DTrains Tehachapi route)

I see what the issue is now. The folder posted above is just the scenery folder from Tehachapi. The 'Environment' folder is needed also, as that is where the ground texture files are located. Both should live in your ' Railworks/Assets/3dTrains/Tehachapi ' folder.

Only the Scenery folder was posted, no Environment folder.

Thank you, that takes care of the roadbed or ballast but, still no track?

It's really a bummer when you come late to the party and all the "free assets" are no longer on a website that can be downloaded from.
It would be nice if all the "free assets" could be collected and added to the file section of RAW.

For me I''m missing the track for both "Power River Basin" and "Cajon" routes created by Tomcat.
Everything else on those routes look fine.

A lot of these were not "free' assets. They were part of a payware route that was never completed by the individual who has since either taken the web page down or it has expired due to him abandoning it. No one knows whether he has passed, or is disabled, or has just abandoned the whole project.

There are still no updates on Marc or the status of 3D scalerail products at Trainsim.com. Is there a way to substitute any other trackage to keep PRB viable?
