Tehachapi Pass and TS Tools in TS Classic.

Unread postby trev123 » Sun May 01, 2022 4:04 pm

I have a problem where this route won't show up in TS Tools. I have opened both AP files but still, the route won't show up. The route one in the content folder and the main one in the DTG folder. What am I missing?

Did you unpack the various folders to the Routes\0000099-0000-0000-0000-00000002021 folder and not to the Main Content folder? It shows up here properly.

Yes. That's just what mine looks like. Look in the IndexFiles RouteIndex.cvs and see if the route is listed there?

I unpacked the route with TS Tools and I couldn't get it to show up either. I made a copy of the route and scenarios, renamed it and that shows up in TS tool and shows as Techachapi-Modified.I am using that to "customize" without messing with the original copy. I don't care about points and want to just drive the route anyhow.

When you add a new route to TS, it will not appear in TS-Tools until you go to the menu Route Building Tools and then run Extract RouteProperties.xml and then Index Route Properties, after which the route should appear correctly along with all your other routes.

Thanks, Mike that did the trick. I ran into this issue once before and had forgotten to do that. I don't use TS Tools all that much.
