Black, white and Multi-coloured "sheets" on screen

Unread postby mindenjohn » Thu Dec 02, 2021 11:34 am

I have finally got Adriana County working on my rig. I have swapped out over 300 files (per route) to get rid of the Marias Pass dependencies with a 99% effectiveness in each of the 2 versions and am now, for the first time able to see what great routes they are however I am getting (only in some places and at certain angles) the coloured sheets which I remember getting with Rich Garber's routes. These were iirc due to vehicles and I remember there was a fix for this but I cannot find it in my stuff and I haven't found it here in the library yet (knowing what it's named would help). Anyone got it handy please?

RSDL cars I think. Try shutting that asset off and see if it goes away. I think I have the fix but see if that's the problem first.

RSDL not activated, I seem to remember Kuju vehicles were at least part of the problem.

I'm not sure that it needs to be activated. Try a .xx after the RSDL and see what happens.

I don't actually have a vehicles file under RSDL but I'll try the .xx

The cars that are bad actors are in Assets\RSDL\IslandLine\Scenery

put xx in front of the "Vehicles" folder name in both Kuju\RS and RSDL\Island Line and no different. I'm starting to think that I may have a Geo clash but it is onlty happening in certain places (and always in those places).

Resolved. It was caused by a Texture or Geo conflict, I don't know which but tinkering in those areas has resolved it. I now have none of these irritating colour sheets. I haven't yet tried it with vehicles but I can live with that if necessary.
