Grab a rock, have a seat, and talk about the real world of trains.

How many of you remember going to the diner and having to write out your order by checking off the items you wanted?

I was at my Dad's house for Christmas and he has been going through his storage room and cleaning things out. He found several issues of "The Progressive Teacher" from 1929. Apparently they were my maternal grandmother's. It was very interesting to see how things were almost a hundred years ago. There were a couple of ads from The Milwaukee Road that some may find interesting. And a belated Merry Christmas to everyone!

Appropriate picture for this time of the year even though it's warm most places right now.

Where's the passengers, oh that's a different thread !*roll-laugh*!
Good picture especially for the historians and HO modellers.
