After telling myself several times do not buy any more TSW stuff, they hit me with this teaser. There seems to be several good scenarios in this pack. !*whack*! Dooh! Just maybe......

The F7 sounds are reused from a TS add-on (which is probably better than what they may have made from scratch). The F7 horn is brand new. As the the SD40, it makes sense to reuse the SD40-2 sounds from SPG because they use the same powerplant, although it would've been nice to see them try to get new sounds. As for the K5LA on the SD40, it is only temporary. A brand new RS3L, made in the same manner as the M5, will be added a week or two after release in a patch.

Aside from that, I am really looking forward to getting this route.

Bit useless for US railroading then innit? Can't think of many trains since the mid 90s that run regularly under 100 cars.

DTG stated they want "the user experience to be the same across all platforms", so the largest common denominator rules, i.e. the gaming consoles define what you get to see on a x-times more powerful gaming PC.

So there you have it, and it won't get any better in the future.

PS: the Swiss route has street running in a busy tourist town, how does it look?

I don't get why DTG doesn't just make a really good 30 mile shortline. No mainline crap because that really shows the weaknesses of TSW.... Just give me a nice little shortline with switching. Don't have to be let down by cut back mainlines, reduced train sizes because the sim can't handle it etc. Guess they always have to swing for the big stuff and miss at the end.

You lot are getting icky picky and are starting to sound like those grumpy old men at you know where. Those screenshots of the swiss route must be from a pre-release version as mine doesn't look like that. I went to that part of the route and it looks OK. A lot of assumptions made in this thread so why not wait until the other route comes out before talking about it. BTW the Swiss route ain't made by DTG but by Rivet games.

I just got this route and when the F7 goes into a tunnel it jumps to cab view as usual, but out of the tunnel does not change back to an outside view, even using outside view keys(2,3).All other route locos work correctly, anyone else have this problem?

From memory all the routes that I have for TSW2021 and TSW2 all do that so this isn't peculiar to this route although I haven't purchased it yet. The Swiss TSW2 route is the same.
