I worked several hours last night trying to create roadnames for the 4-4-0 tender here in the file library. You can't add a roadname to the tender tgpcx file because it's mapped to cover both side and the rear. So, I tried to create a roadname (Cimarron & Pacific) alpha channel graphic and a transparent graphic that could be inserted as a road number file. In that way, I could designate the number of the tender as "010" with the number "0" as a blank texture and the number "1" as a roadname, similar to what Dick Cowan does with his steam tenders. I can create the blank and roadname textures and placed them in the proper folders, but I cannot get them to show up on the tender in-game. I also inserted Michael Stephan's blank number textures for the unused numbers and edited the bin files. Even though the numbers are mapped to show up on the sides of the tender, I couldn't get them to work. Would anyone be willing to help with this project?
