Sounds like they are eliminating all the not-so-much-fun aspects of creating game content. I can't wait!

TSW is still on UE4.16, right?

Any new version needs a need recompiling of all assets, even to change the name from TSWPrototype.

Perhaps when TSW2025 comes about?

The only things that we will see are DLCs. !*roll-laugh*!
There is no space for if else statements -

Since DTG never shared a blueprint of their development plans so I now don't care if they release a TSW2025 or TSW3025
!*not-ok*!

No matter how decent graphics look, they are useless if the game is a near unplayable mess. I am not referring to anything specific here, but DTG need to stop being drawn in by eye candy, and focus on the loyal players of their games more.

TSW is a dead end unless they change directions.

TSW is not a simulator, it is an arcade game with mission and points and XP

I think that in the context that you must complete a mission successfully to finish the scenario and the lack of the ability to do what you want (free roam) and set up your own scenario (editor) it is an arcade game. At least in other arcade games, you can add tanks, aircraft, and weapons with your "points".

Are there any new features in UE5 that would really enhance a simulation type game such as TSW from the players point of view?

If I didn't know better, I'd suspect that DTG have no intention to ever include an editor, or scenario creator.

It should be called Train driver or something. There is no in game world or anything, so what is the appeal of this game? It is a disaster, and they're best off redesigning it from scratch.
