I think darker also. Aluminium tends to darken a little as it ages, so does stainless steel.

Those look great! Is there any way you could also do a Pacific Parlour Car in Phase III-VI (IVb for those who don't know official terms) and some coaches in Phase IV? There was a small handful of coaches that got refurbished and painted into Phase IV. They ran on the Heartland Flyer up until about 2008.
