many thanks for the additional comments and reports!

we believe we have now identified the problem. rick has discovered that the offending scenery tile has blank provider/product entries on the affected asset entries (the foliage milk bottles around Index). we don't know how this happened or why it happened so late during the build process (as you can see from my screenshot above, all was well only a couple of months ago, long after we had removed the kuju assets from our stevens pass assets folder because we obviously couldn't release them outside of steam.

whatever went wrong, this should be fixable.

jamesphh wrote:However, RW tools lists many missing items that I suspect are actually from Stevens Pass. Such as tunnel doors. I am currently running from the east end of the route all the way to the west end.

These are the "expected milk bottles" I mentioned earlier and which made this current bug hunt more complicated for us. The process of moving the route and changing its provider/product entries in the tiles was rather complicated and there were some items that slipped past us or where we just didn't bother to fully remove them from the route tiles but only got rid of their asset files. In the case of the tunnel doors the visual result is the same -- there are none, just as it should be because they were only installed for the diesel engines. This of course makes RW Tools missing files reports much less useful than on a normal route.

cheers

If you go into the World Editor and double-click on the milk bottle, you can see from the info in the fly-out what was supposed to be there (the path and name of the missing asset).

Sometimes I just get the gizmo as soon as I click on it.

That happens when you're far enough away for the gizmo to take up more screen space than the actual bottle. You have to zoom in close enough so that the bottle is larger than the gizmo and then click outside the gizmo.

Hi,

Thanks again for the reports and your help with this one.

We have fixed the scenery bugs at Index (and a couple of others) and will upload a patch to the file library shortly.

Cheers!
