Need to take out " Show Intro Screenshots "

Is there a possibility to remove the " Show Intro Screenshots "at the beginning of the simulator. I find it takes longer to wait before can start in simulation. I see that DoveTail Games have at the most with 6 screenshots which I am NOT interested to see while starting up the simulation after login in Steam.

Let me know if there is a way to stop them and what needs to be done to stop them?

It would be quite complicated.
There is no option to turn this off.
The program fetches the screenshots from DTG's web server.

On the other hand, I'm not so sure it slows down loading.
Do what I do: loading time means a visit to bathroom, getting a beer from the fridge, watering the plants, ...

Try doing a search for "RSSlideshow.swf" in your main TS2018 folder. Once you find it, take it completely out of the game files and place it somewhere safe, just in case something goes awry. When you reenter the game and load a scenario, you should see nothing else other than the default wallpaper. The only downside is the loading bar at the bottom of the screen will be gone, so you'll have to play a waiting game while the scenario is loading.

Bear in mind that I did this a long time ago, so I'm not sure if it will still work or if DTG is using something different for the slideshows now. I'm assuming it still works as I haven't seen any of these six screenshots you're referring to. It wouldn't hurt to try, though. Hope this helps!

I did follow your instructions also kept the file in safe place just in case. Anyway it is working and much better. Want to say thank you for the tip about this.

It worked for me. Thanks for drawing attention to it. The only weird thing was the screen remaining static with the menu options at the top remaining, but it does eliminate the monotony of seeing the same screenshot again and again, as well as the starers on that TSW promo screen.

Not sure if it makes a difference with CPU usage by not requiring RW to load one of the 2 or so images it has in it's memory bank for this purpose....
