RW asset setup

Unread postby NSrailfan6130 » Wed Sep 13, 2017 9:59 am

On my recent install of TS now the Asset Setup extensions aren't installing anything. First they aren't even pulling up the path to railworks folder its blank for some reason but when I go into the directory and go to the Railworks folder and install it still doesn't install the assets.

I don't know if he's having the same issue I'm having, but when I go to add files to the rail asset folder, the folder is showing empty. There's nothing it. I'm looking at the folder through the C:drive > Program folders(x86) > Railworks > Assets

Seems to be contagious. I'm lost as well. *!rolleyes!*

Guys, getting files into Railworks is a snap, and in most cases, installers should be pointed to the main Railworks folder. Otherwise, I'm not clear on what you're trying to do...Blueprint export, or installing an asset that you downloaded from the library here?
Cheers!

The default install of railworks is as follows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Railworks
the Assets folder you're looking for to install anything should be in this default install location. If you installed Steam to anything other than the default location you will need to do a search for the folder. No matter where you installed it the Assets will always be in Steam\steamapps\common\Railworks
