Invisible Gp15-1

So, I downloaded the Blackwood Creek reskin for the GP15-1 here on RWA... installed fine, but when it's in game, it appears in Scenerio Editor but when I click play, it disappears....any help here? It does appear in the cabview, and is drivable. Is it just a problem with the geo file?

Usually it means the geo is not in the correct location. However in this case there is no file copying required. Do you have the original GP15 by David Brindley installed? You must have it for the repaints to work. It's available here as Missouri Pacific (MP) EMD GP15 - New Model. There are references to the original GP15 that may prevent the repaint from loading properly. You may have to delete the repaint and re-install after putting the original in.

Yes, I have the original version installed, had it long before I found your reskin... no idea what's the problem then...

I see 1701 in the photo. Have you tried 1138? There are also 3 versions of each number, a simple, advanced and a no driver. Do they all fail? How about another of my repaints, just to see what happens.

1138 does the same thing...


You made the Adriana County reskins right? The normal ones work fine on my computer, don't have the ditchlights AC reskins downloaded yet.. I also have the UP Y588 installed...

I think it might require the Adriana County Reskin (http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... e-repaints) as when I installed it, it now works...

The ditchlights may have done it. I thought I included the lights folder but you never know. I had a similar problem with the default US diesels. They looked fine in the editor, but showed only the couplers in game. It turned out an obscure lighting file had vanished. Once replaced, they worked fine.

Yes, I did the ACRR GP15s. Also a Conrail set and an NS set.

I know this is an old thread, but did you ever figure out the issue. Just installed the BCRR GP15 and experiencing the same issue. Normal troubleshooting indicates no missing files etc. Also the ACRR and MP GP15's show up and function just fine.

I can normally figure these things out, but this one has me scratching my head.
