I could have a go at some MOW ballast hoppers if anyone's interested.. no promises, but we'll see.

They've been mum because they are working on a UE4 project. It looks outstanding, although it may just be "practice" . *!greengrin!*

Oh yes, quite enjoying. Overtime out the wahoo.

C30-7 is in the pipeline at DTG, and we are using the "downtime" to play around with the Unreal engine, get a little experience pushing meshes into it.

Just picked this up.
Pros-
-Engine Sounds
-Horn
-lighting
-toilet camera
-good looking textures
-3 liveries; rusty, dirty, clean
-doors and windows open
Cons
-Cab is somewhat dark, just like the U30C

Plus, there is a bug where the engine shuts down at the start of every scenario. Hopefully it gets fixed.

Overall, the quality of this engine does not disappoint, and is very accurate and good looking. I'd recommend picking it up.

Have you read the manual? This isn't actually a bug (according to manual): the engine is designed to require an elaborate manual start procedure that can only be avoided through the use of a LUA script. I've purchased engines like this before and eventually found myself cursing the startup procedure, but evidently some folks like it. !*don-know!*

If you want to skip the full startup procedure, you can just hit "Z".

As OldProf said, there is a script that scenario builders can use to have the engine running (and stay running) at the start of their scenario.

I didn't read the manual, just went straight into game and messed with the engine. Not sure how much I like the whole off engine thing, going to have to look at the script.

Someone gave this great locomotive a negative review of it. They couldn't start it. !*roll-laugh*!
