Yes, you can unpack RWP files and install them manually, but what if you want to remove them later? That's why the Package Manager, which makes both installing and removing RWP packages easy. Here's how:
1. In your Railworks directory, find Utilities.exe. Right-click that file, select "Send To" and choose "Desktop (create shortcut)". Right click that shortcut on your desktop and select "Run as Administrator".
2. Double click the Utilities-Shortcut icon to open the TS Utilities program and, depending on your Windows version, okay opening the program.
3. Click on the Package Manager tab, then click on the Install button -- you do not need to click refresh unless you want to remove something.
4. Navigate to the location of the RWP file, click it, then click Install.
That's it! This isn't even tricycle science and it means, I will note again, removing the contents of an RWP package much easier.
