The Bergen Line that everyone has now, will this be staying online separate of the Croxton Ordinary, or will it be taken down once Croxton Ordinary is finalized? The Bergen will be staying online, work will continue and be separate from the Croxton Ordinary

Will the Croxton Ordinary have any updates to it once finalized? No- Once Finalized I cant update the route anymore (hence NOT finalizing the Bergen and making a copy for scenarios)

Will the Croxton Ordinary eventually reach Campbell Hall? No-I ran out of time to even modify it for the 70's.

Subscribed, thumbs up and favorited![/quote]

Thanks NS - this is going to be a wild ride the next few days - I already got a down vote - some Steam People are acting a bit 'strange' and there is content being made for this as I type. Some say DLC for a Workshop route cant be done - I say there must be some combination that it can be done. The point is to have EL, Conrail and Transition Era gear for this route- I built this for the EL! Either way, ANY equipment will be able to be used on the finalized route. I am a little nervous how this will turn out.

I am pleased to report we have our 24 upvotes in less then 17 hours. I am not pleased to report, I am investigating some missing assets and a track break (missing track) on the Piermont. I will report back with my findings.

We are THIS close to final!

Should I understand by that and all the fuzz with the route names (in these days), that all speed limits and signals have been revised?
If not why would you like that route finalized?

The speed issues on the Bergen have been resolved to my satisfaction. It took a month, and without you Jalsina, it would not have happened.
To some up what happened:
1. The route is performing significantly better with the signal and speed fixes.
2. 33 months of work - its time to see the scenarios.
3. A developer is interested in developing content for the Bergen that I absolutely love.
4. TSW will be out in February - the Bergen could be forgotten.

The track fixes and the request by the developer happened at the same time. So, I went to 100 percent track fixes for the past month. The results are very positive.

By releasing the Croxton Ordinary and finalizing it... I can continue working on the Bergen knowing its being used, knowing that I can continue to develop it and then finalize the last 18 miles of the Modern Era Route. Its a joy and a relief at the same time.

Hey MM,

Just wanted to let you know I encountered a problem yesterday with the QD from Jersey City-Suffern. I believe it was CP Croxton that had a red signal against me even though the path was lined correctly and would not allow permission to pass. I started a QD from Suffern-Hoboken but only got a few minutes into it before I had to leave for afternoon. I will report back on that QD later today when I get back to it.

I am happy to read the speed limits are OK. It will be time to make some scenario then.
TSW will give me a nice Sand Patch route with few assets. It will take years to DTG to build something like TS for TSW.
I have about 50 routes installed including yours. It will be difficult to forget TS2017.
Bergen may die the day the author learns the UE4 tools to make the same route in TSW. !!*ok*!!

Looking back - I couldn't change the way I build this ... when NJCL came out - I got Hoboken and I went modern. If NJCL did not come out, I would have installed Harmon Cove and used the pre-2003 alignment in Secaucus. I had planned to cobble pieces of assets together to make it. If you read the Bergen thread, you will find I grappled with that. I never ever dreamed that the route would become the scale it has become, the enormity of it blows me away.

As far as the Bergen dying when TSW comes out... well if this route builder thing goes well. I would like, I would love DTG to green light the full New York Division Circa 1966 - 1976 for UE4. I need assets! Ill build it ! In the meantime .. I promised to go to Campbell Hall ... and so I will.

And then I can do what I wanted in the first place ... build the Bergen than my Dad and I ran on ... 40 years ago.

I can't either! What a roller coaster ride this is.

Please be advised - we have 41 of 30 votes needed to finalized. We did that in 36 hours ! I just released a hotfix for scenery, the one last night was for missing track in Piermont. I will post 2 more updates tonight as needed. One at 9pm the other Midnight. Please test your scenarios, test the route, make suggestions. But do it soon - THIS IS IT! *!greengrin!*

There is one scenario for the Croxton announced in Steam. Unfortunately I miss that GP40.
Is there someone here in RWA that has already made an scenario for that route?

I tried one of the QD existing routes and gave me a loading error.
The route is from New Jersey- Suffern to Croxton IMF-Pad A

The issue seems to be caused by the origin place: Jersey City - Suffern. It will give the error as well with the Croxton S, CP Marion, Croxton Yard Office, Ford Lead and HX1 destinations.
I have tried it with different consists, including only a single loco.

This would mean one of the two QD scenarios has at least that issue and requires a revision

You mean for the Bergen, but not possible for the Croxton as a WS finalized route.
