I think I know when this Assets/Assets thing might have happened.
I just remembered, a few months ago I had one of those errant copy paste operations happen. You know, when a paste goes somewhere it wasn't supposed to. I found it later and removed the Assets folder which was originally from a backup, that ended up accidentally inside my main Assets folder.
I'll bet that's when it happened.
That being said, I unloaded the errant blueprint in the editor along with the lost Assets folder, but the game apparently left it in some of the scenery bins...
It hasn't affected the joy of the scenery update, but I'll bet money that's got something to do with why I haven't been able to upload to the Workshop.
New build. i7-7700k, MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Mobo, Hyper 212 Evo, Corsair DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM, Klipsch Pro Mediea 2.1 Speakers, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, HAF XM Case, Asus Strix GTX 1070 and Cooler Master Storm XT Keyboard.
Slick with Pretty Rainbow Colors.

Great to hear you narrowed it down... !!*ok*!!

Possibly could be what was stopping you from uploading... !*don-know!* I am not familar with the workshop rules / criteria.
Anyway, as mentioned previous there are 8 scenery tiles that have this Assets/Assets issue with several strings in each tile.

Thank you qrfan3.
What you found was why I couldn't upload the route to the Workshop. !!*ok*!!
It was really easy to remove the odd bin entries using RW_Tools. I just highlighted the entries and clicked the button to remove them. RW_Tools did the rest. I did have to refresh the entries for the new list to show up.
I didn't have to expand the Donner Pass .ap to do any of this.

Also: This won't affect my Donner Pass Scenery Upgrade Final in the file library.

Apparently "Donner Pass Redux" is too large to upload to the Steam Workshop. !*hp*!

Thanks ever so much for finishing this off, Eric, you've done us all proud with your hard work, which I'm sure is hugely appreciated by everyone who purchased this route originally, and we can now see the layout in a much more realistic condition. *!!thnx!!*

I'm glad you guys like it.
My favorite parts of driving the route now are the desert up through the Truckee river canyon and the drive from Colfax to Emigrant Gap.
I couldn't get the signals at Alta to 100%. A person still gets a yellow when approaching Alta in the Eastbound direction, although that's better than eating a red.
The only theory I have for that Alta problem is, maybe the crossovers are at such a spacing, something in the signalling code thinks its a yard or something. !*don-know!*

Eric,

While playing an scenario from Truckee to Norden with the SP GP20 I noted 4 missing signal gantries in the main line quite near from the 180 degrees curve.
I checked them in the editor and the issue is that all 4 I fixed had the Detail Level set to 1. Other gantries are set to 10, so I set the 4 to 10.
Unless your detail scenery is maxed in the graphics settings, lots of players will see only hanging signals.

Hmmm.
I had forgotten all about that. I was going to reset the crossing and signal bridges to 10 but never got around to it.
That being said, the lower detail level settings don't help the newer GPUs much anyhow. It's mostly the shadow settings that improve the FPS.
That and turning things off like the 3D weather and headlight flairs.

There are also some tunnel portals (rocky surfaces) with low details and the occlusion may be visible.
I will try to help if I find something important.
The way to chase those is navigating in the editor with low settings.

I know you did not mess with the tracks problems, but I believe that other than taking time, it would be possible to fix most of the speed limits. For example in Truckee there are 40 mph tracks in the yard.
I have to confess I am not too familiarized with Donner Pass as to have knowledge about where are the issues. I have read that there are also some tracks that have physical gaps (visual).

Sorry to drag this one up, but I had a sudden problem of tempdumps this morning, even before being able to enter the menu. So after the usual atempts to fix things I just backed up my assets folder and started installing fresh.

However, I can't seem to find this scenery upgrade in the file library anymore? And when I go to the page directly I get a 404:

http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/route-collection?view=document&id=2139:donner-pass-scenery-upgrade-final&catid=20:route-collection

So... where is it ? *!embar*!

Eric had all his stuff removed because of some bad attitudes here.
