RW Tools is the best way to do it. You need to have Railworks set up to run in a window so you can also have RWTools on the screen. In RWTools go to Route Building Tools, then Marker Files and from there Set Markers from World Editor. A window opens for you to pick your route. Then once your route is hilited in the list you add the lat and lon and give the marker a name and click Add to List. Keep doing it until you have them all or get tired. Then save the list. It will go in your Assets/(your assets folder)/Route Marker. A bin and dscv file will be created.
If you need more added later on, do it all again and a second file will be created in the Route Markers folder, I cut and paste the date from the new dscv file to the bottom of the old one.
To get the lon and lats you have to fly around the route, pull the upper pull down and look see what the lats and lons are. Copy and paste them in to RW tools.
The DSCV file can be edited with Notepad.
Your location markers will named the same as your route. RW Tools takes care of that also.
