Donner Pass Redux Signal Bridge??

Unread postby cnbalasub » Mon Sep 12, 2016 12:01 pm

I am checking with you all to see if your route with Donner Pass Redux which created by Ericmopar. Mine is not showing the signal bridge only signal masts on top but no bridge over two tracks. I did post my message over at Steam community to see if Ericmopar will see it but have not see his reply yet. I hope that you know what I am talking about this missing signal bridge along the route while simulating on my program of Train Simulator 2016. If not then I will be more happy to post the screenshot of the missing signal bridge. I wonder if that can be fix by me through Contents or Assets? If yes then can you tell me how.

Thank you,

John

Your detail level must be set lower then max.
This is a problem for many routes.
Setting the detail level lower doesn't help much in game anyways. However, turning down shadows and disabling the Dynamic Weather/Clouds helps a lot.
Scenery Quality can be lowered too some without any real affect.

Want to say thank you for your time to reply to my message. Unfortunately your settings that you wrote above did not help much with my program of Train Simulator 2016. Does the program of RW_Tools run through to see any missing shape files for your route? I know the program of Route_Riter does check the route and find missing files then copy/paste from other routes to the route that have missing shape files. It works but I am not sure if RW_Tools do but the same creator with Mike Simpson who started with Route_Riter for Microsoft Train Simulator then RW_Tools for Railworks.

Thank you,

John

I know it's not missing shape files, otherwise other people would have reported the same problem.
Jalsina was bringing up the missing signal bridges, but he runs an older PC with lowered detail levels.
When the detail is turned down, the program starts eliminating objects to lessen the work load.

OK thank you for your reply. Maybe I am confused about what you are trying to say about the sliders in Options Menu. You mean that I should lower " Shadows " and disable " Dynamic Weather/Clouds ". I have done with this and did not help with this so at last I lowered " Scenery Quality " and still no show. Now my desktop is Acer Aspire M3450 with FX 6300 which is 3.8 GHz and my graphic card is Asus Radeon HD 7770 2 GB and the drivers are up to this date from AMD. So I am not sure if that is the problem with my desktop. I can go without Signal Bridge on your route of Donner Pass Redux. Or I might have to unsubscribe from Workshop then resubscribe to see if that will help. My other routes that I have no problem with Signal Bridge. If you can tell me what is the name of file for Signal Bridge then I will copy and paste from one route to yours to see if that will solve the problem.

Thank you again,

John

In Settings click on Graphics and then Advanced Graphics and increase the Scenery Density slider.

Well well and now it's good news to solve the problem with Signal Bridge. As I moved the slider all the way to the right to full maximum with Scenery Density slider. Now look good to see the black signal bridge with the signal masts above. Want to say thank you to NYWhiskey for solve the problem of this. Also want to say thank you to Ericmopar for your patience with me about the problem.

Thank you,

John !*YAAA*!
