Route size has nothing to do with frame rates. It is only a factor in how long it takes the route to load.

Now that I think about it and see the obvious - its not National Docks - its LV's Oak Island Yard that binds us all.
I was thinking of route to route scenarios .... interesting.

Okay so here's one more comparison of my previous screenshot...
The real...Image

and to answer your questions...

Adam, yes I would love to add it to workshop when I feel it is adequately sceniced (I'm working on this extremely part time...maybe about 10 hours a week if that and doing small chunks at a time). Just let me know if there's any "requirements" in order to do it right.

Also, I would love to do cross route with anyone who has routes that connect to mine. Since I railfan the Lehigh Line all the time I have a few real world scenarios... one example was the crew of 18G had 3 units all with about 1000 gallons or less (since the units didn't get refueled in Harrisburg like planned) in the tanks on all units. So the weekend Lehigh dispatcher (who's name is Glenn) had to move them through but told them to manage their fuel. This was a couple years ago, I think I have the whole radio conversation on one of my videos (I have many interesting situations on video). Those have led to many different scenario ideas all based on real world situations. So look forward to that.

OH! before I forget... I'm thinking of opening a new topic (essentially closing this one since I don't "Need some help") and calling it the "Central Jersey Freight Lines (Lehigh Line Project)" My route covers much more than just The Lehigh Line from Oak Island to Bethlehem/Allentown. I also have the National Docks as mentioned and The Garden State Secondary (former Chemical Coast Line) to South Amboy. With some portions of the River Line, Trenton Sub, and NJ Raritan Valley Lines and other connecting lines (to provide a sense of trains going "off route"). Possibly extending to Browns Yard if popular demand deems it necessary. So would anyone have anything wrong with starting a new thread or what?

Thanks for the support all! :D

Ken, It's better to upload sooner rather than later. This will allow you see any compatibility issues early on. Even better is a user base that behaves like a giant beta testing group. It is motivational too.

Your route is huge and the scenery is the time monster. I recomment working in sequence, grid by grid from the start. The only driving you do is tests of your own route. You need every second of time to build.

We have a rich area of freight heritage to play with here. Every mile is interesting.

Best,
Adam

That is correct, I was using MA80 as the comparison to the shot of MA80 I found on the internet.
More Locals will be coming as scenery work continues. Be looking forward for some local "stars" in some upcoming screenshots.

Hey Ken will your route include Croxton? That would be another commonality with the Bergen. And if so you could have a set of scenarios, one for Lehigh and one for Bergen...33K (Lehigh) and H70 (goes up via Bergen to the Southern Tier).

To answer your question...yes... and yes... I will be including the National Docks Secondary as well as other secondary lines in my route. I have already been in talks with Adam about cross route scenarios. (I just have to figure out how to set them up.) I'm hoping that because my route cover's a lot of rail in NJ it can be a filler route for a lot of other routes.
