Adriana County GP15's

Unread postby Nitsujy12345 » Tue May 03, 2016 4:51 pm

Not sure if this is the correct location for this topic, but I went here because I know this will show up.
I downloaded the Adriana County GP15s from RWA, and there is a texture problem. I know the problem, but many probably do not. This is a problem that happens with many repainters.

On lower texture settings (I believe), this is how they will appear:

When you are repainting, check to make sure that you get both the NM and NMC textures repainted. That is, if there is both, which the GP15s do. For those that do not know, a simple quick solution is to go into the texture folder of each GP15 repaint, then find and delete the one called 'GP15_Body_nmc'. Then copy 'GP15_Body_nm' and paste it. Rename it to GP15_Body_nmc. Be careful when doing this with other repaints having this problem. It may be the other way around, so it won't hurt to check before you delete and replace.

Thanks for the tip. I had no clue. Some of the nmc files appear to be a purple bump file or something.

This is only when there is only a nm and a nmc file. If there is just a plain whatever then this doesn't apply.

How do you get these repaints to show up in the color shown on the download page?
My engines are all showing up with the same color as the original engine. !**conf**!

I've just uploaded a GP15 as NS 1452 and have incorporated this fix. Subsequent repaints will have it where applicable. Sorry about the omission.

I was wondering if the Adriana County had been negotiating with the Genesse & Wyoming? If so, its new herald might look something like this. If so, I can supply the Photoshop layered file.

Many thanks, ex-railwayman

A 2-pack with different number horsehead and a traditional GP15 has just been uploaded. The big difference is that these will have ditch lights.
