G-TraX problem in RW2016

Maybe a silly question but when you check the gtrax\trains in the scenario editor do you make sure the 2 boxes on the right are checked because if the furthest to the right box is not checked they will not show on the left

Yes robbit, they are both checked. Been there so often now that I'd notice if one was not checked. When I go over to the left to choose, none of the cars are listed.

OK maybe another stupid question then, When you downloaded the file you did remove the rwp file from the rar file right? if you have not then it sometimes does not install correctly and sometimes with windows it may look like it is unpacked but is not. Only asking these questions because it is a weird situation and can not think of any obvious fix

Hi robbit, Yes the 2 boxes on the right were always checked in the many times I tried installing the coaches. But, the named files never appear in the box on the left for adding into sim route.

You said sim route You are in the scenario Editor not the route editor correct?

Robbit, my wrong choice of word, I am in the scenario editor each and every time I have attempted to use these coaches. I was also thinking something external to sim may have altered the files. By that I mean I did do a along overdo disk defrag a day or two before I downloaded the G-trax files. But I rule that out now because I have downloaded and installed other locs and freight cars without any problem! This whole thing is strange and weird and I resigned to forget the coach files and go on with happy railroading again!

Again, to all you guys, I appreciate the input and time you gave. Life is full of unsolved mysteries and this may be one of them.
