Very enjoyable running units. Plus, you can choose which cab you want to operate from.

For $5 a set, you can't beat em! Even the NS set comes with like 5 different units plus the slug. If you get the NS pack, you have to remember that some of them do have headlight issues which is noted in the details. !!*ok*!!

After I am done scripting for the C30-7 I'll see if I can fix some of those bugs I abandoned.

Oh man that would be awesome! Only thing that seems to be an issue is the headlight/ditch light function on a couple of the NS units.

Only issue I can see is some headlights don't show as bright as the others. Pretty minor detail that shouldn't bother anyone! !*cheers*!

These and the CSX set will look good on the Bergen Line. *!greengrin!*

You may have them on Dim or Medium. Make sure the head light selector is on BRT is you want it full blast.

Well, now I must say, those NS high hoods are looking pretty sweet there in the background, plus I just watched an NS DVD this afternoon...
Thanks

Hi all

I am having some issues with the NS Slug Set, I learned from another post that there are some minor issues with the HN units, but in fact I am not really able to use them at all.
In fact the brakes won't release on HN units, if moving the lever into release, the brakes fully apply. If set full to apply, the brake cylinder pressure drops but PCS switch opens.

Since I have to buy it on trains-and-drivers I am not sure if I got the latest version, may there is some update around? Or anyone can confirm this issue or state if it works fine?

EDIT: Fixed, only occured when engine is not started up complete - so everything OK.

Cheers

Thorsten
