Got a pic? I don't know one boxcar from another, but I've got an eye for liveries...

Interesting that you've picked a dedicated car. Newsprint is quite fragile, and easily damaged by rocks and such left from other loads. Cleanliness is another factor, as is a dry environment.

Going to jump on Mike's thread for a moment since I just finished... and uploaded, a set of PS1 Boxes.

Special Thanks to Mike for giving my work a once over and giving me a couple pointers.

Not sure which version you're talking about. I'm not too familiar with the Rock Island's paint schemes. If you could find some pictures, that would be great.

On a side note, here's another WIP for bankruptcy blue:

This is the boxcar that Michael released as freeware so that means that repaints can be distributed with the geometry files included. So I don't think you should need the original for them to work; but in case you do:

If the question ever comes up why I do not include the geometry files in my repaints of Michael 50' Box it was to politely direct the user to his site, and perhaps pick up a few of his other excellent models (free or payware). After all, he did do us a favor with give the community a multitude of free models (have you seen the stations he just released?).
