Consist Creator, menu font issue.

Hello,

Has anyone else had the issue where the category selection menu's in the Consist Creator show as messed up letter's (font)?

I'm talking about the menu where you select the type (Wagon, Diesel, Electric or Steam). And the last one where once you are ready to save your consist, you choose the Country Code it is associated with, such as USA, United Kingdom. I will try to attach some screen shots with this so you can see what I'm talking about.

This problem showed up once before but then went away after an update, but has been back for me since the last Smokebox FEF update. I don't think the FEF is the problem, but something in the update may be. I'm not exactly sure because there have also been a number of TS2016 updates, Windows 10 updates and NVIDIA updates all happening around the same time as each other.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't know which file(s) I should even look at for this.

The TS consist creator is an abomination.
You are probably better off using RW-Tools, or do like the pros:

I sent this and a scoring font ticket in. I think it has something to do with TS2015 free upgrade to 2016.

I did find that there is a WinRAR archive in Railworks/data/font that is called FontTiny. And when I try to open this using WinRAR or WinZip, it say's "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged.". So, if I had to guess, I'd say this "might" be the problem. Not sure.

I can confirm doyletom that the free update of TS2016 is the version that comes with that bug. I posted something in Steam back in September related with the issue. It got fixed as soon as acquired the pay version of TS2016.

Chacal, nothing personal , but the custom consist editor is my best and fastest way to make a consist for QD. I am aware that most of TS players have lots of trouble with it. I have made consists of more than 100 cars. It requires patience when working with it.
I recently had those dumb chain of crashes when using the editor and was able to fix it. I think that most of the dumb crashes due to the editor has to do with a corrupted template file (where the consists are stored).
I think however that it would be not that hard for DTG providing us with a better consist editor
