Just gave this a quick check in the RWA livery. Engine, bell, and horn sound nice and loud. Working lights and switches. Doors and windows all open and the windows include an armrest as a nice touch. Very nicely done sir.

Awesome engine, really enjoying it, if one asks me it's the best freeware engine ever.

Perhaps next you could do a 60's era autorack train car, actually looking for someone to donate my 50's and 60's cars to to place on an autorack.

I'd love to build one, but my computer problems won't allow me, having enough headache with my airplane model, because the computer doesn't like it.

...Cheers...

Hmm, ...well, it looks like a few people are experiencing a bug in the S2, but at least it is the SAME bug that the few are experiencing, which is actually a good sign.
Maybe we can trouble shoot this together. Are you experiencing this with ALL of the S2's, or the generic only? We'll need to start isolating the problem.

I did some research into some past threads about only couplers showing up, and someone suggested that:

"If the couplers are showing up the geo file is there. The problem is your bin file is not pointing to the correct set of textures. Usually that's caused by the bin file either being named incorrectly inside or some other call out near the top has the wrong name on it."

For me, I loaded the S2 in a Free Roam scenerio that I had created, and didnt see any problems with any of them that I had loaded.

Are you experiencing this will all of the S2 locos? Did you try the others (starting with the Rollout and/or the generic version)?

Try this maybe:
Load up the Donner Pass Route.
Create a Free Roam scenario with another working loco you might have.
Save the scenario.
Exit and open your saved scenario, and edit it again.
Add the S2 (generic or Rollout version)

Let me know of your results. We'll figure this out.
Sorry for the headache. Welcome to Train Simming.

I'm also experiencing the bug, but I've also noticed it's nothing major, when we leave the editor and go into the game the engine runs perfectly, and that yellow sphere disappears.

I experienced that with the UP one and I also saw it behind the UP one on one of the original default ones, but the engine still runs perfectly in sim.

Also, it isn't a headache, the engine runs perfectly and sounds awesome.

As for the engine not showing up, I have to say I'm not experiencing that problem.

What I don't understand is you all are showing one locomotive when in the world editor mode then when you save it you both are showing multiple sets of couplers. Can you explain that please?

All of them show up fine here.

One thing I've noticed with large rwp's is that sometimes they don't install fully. One thing to try is just reinstall the rwp a few times overwriting it, that way it should install fully.

I don't know if this is the issue, maybe not, but it's a worth a shot.

Yes there have been hundreds of D/L already and only a few seem to be having a problem.

Good suggestion along with go look and see what's there in your folder so you can see what's missing.

Instead of reinstalling the RWP's via Utilities multiple times it would probably be much faster to just extract the RWP with 7zip or WinRAR (I do this with all RWP's anyway since Utilities takes ages to update then finally install the RWP, it's much faster imo). After you extract it simply drag the extracted "Assets" folder into the root Railworks directory, merge folders, and say NO to overwrite files. Why not overwrite? Because if it still moves some files you know that the RWP didn't install everything. If it just quits and doesn't move anything then you know it may be another issue with the S2 files that need problem solving. Hope this helps.
