ALCo Century´s

Unread postby ALCoDL540 » Thu May 28, 2015 7:52 pm

With the works on the NS Big 7s almost done, the ALCo and GE Subdivision of DTM (Digital Train Model), Alejandro Bielicki and me, we start the works on ALCo Century Series, thinking today a pack containing probably 2 versions C628 and C630, but today we don´t have a idea about the scheme or the extra content...

If you're looking for a paintscheme then how about one of these?

Awesome! !*YAAA*!

They'd look pretty good in CP paint as well.

This is great to see in progress! *!!thnx!!*

I don't know much about 3d modeling, but if it is simple to make objects such as bells, handbrake wheels, and dynamic brake housings 'movable'? I would love to see a BC Rail, or CP Rail C630M, or M630 since we have routes for both railroads already in game. I'm not sure if their differences from 'regular' C630 units would be too difficult to model from the same base locomotive.

The High hoods would be very cool to see! The NW had high hood C628's and C630's. (Their fleet of C628's later went on to the CNW)

A-636s. They also had A-425s and A-424s.

What is the difference between the A-630 and the C-630?

None. It was BN's System of identifying the alcos. So instead of C-636 they put A (for Alco of course) 636.

What happened to this? I would love to get these!

I dont remember if i was this comment before, but im not a full time modeller because im an office employee and i give to 3ds max my few free moments...

Working on details of century´s, the package will be 2 SP units, C628 and C630 with some wagons (we have not decided yet about wagons).
