CRL Locomotives

Unread postby ErikGorbiHamilton » Tue Sep 01, 2015 4:50 pm

Ok, If anyone has seen the Any Route Any Era thread you will notice that i have modified the Original Castle Rock Route To have more 'Stuff'. In a fictional back story i said that the new operator was a outfit called "Colorado Rail Link" took over the line from Monument to Castle Rock. Right now im using the G-Trax Guliford GP40's as stand in for CRL Engines. I was wondering if anyone could repaint the Kuju SD40-2, G-Trax GP40, RSC SW100, and RSC GP9 into CRL colors (which are Gray and Two Tone Green (To match the landscape of the Castle Rock route)). Now i don't have any Prototype Pictures so im asking you guys, Could you come up with something?

Thanks!

I just thought you could repaint thethe G-Trax Guliford GP40 as a "Patched locomotive" to stand in for CRL equipment for now. I was thinking that the Huge G and the guilford could be patched out and in its place put "Colorado Rail Link". Of course we would have to black out the MEC and BM reporting marks with the numbers.
Just a thought. Ill see if i can download a Guliford GP40 Scale drawing and "patch" it up.

Please excuse my crappy MS paint editing. Couldn't find a Scale Guilford GP40 to use. and the one that i did find had "Springfield Terminal". This is what i was thinking for a unit the CRL just bought and patched up.
