Ran across another artifact and had to delete the traffic loft. I had not had any issues in this area before. Perhaps Marc at 3D trains can come up with a solution. I still believe that the 50.5a update has something to do with his problem. I had been updating this route since TS 2014 and have not seen this until the 50.5a update. I was even working in the area with the update and did not see this issue before.

You guys remember the black space behind the signal on the Canadian Passes rout after one of the updates that only showed up if you were using the 3D weather? Maybe one of these glitches is rearing it's head again.

Montour is plagued by it as well.

Well I have not placed any ai traffic on the Lafayette route yet. I wonder if that will happen if/when I do... Might give it a try th is weekend.

More information on the artifact. I had just added a new scenario while working on the route. A new artifact appeared ( actually four of them). All were of a parking lot with parking stripes. I was able to find the areas involved and delete them. However, I have noticed that this has happened three time and only after adding a new scenario or modifying an existing one. It may be my method of adding a scenario or not. If I have an existing scenario in the area I enter the scenario and click on the edit scenario icon and then add a scenario marker for the new scenario in that area. Then proceed from there. I can not say now if this is related to 50.5a update as I did not add any scenarios under TS 2015 before the 50.5a update.

Revised: The one existing scenario that I modified I actually used the Build - Scenario - Edit from the main menu and added a new engine.

I'm lead to believe that a loft item that was set as an offset to the road has issues (perhaps a guardrail). I have not had reports of any problems with ScaleRoad or its traffic ribbons since its release several years ago (other than it can be a PIA to lay the ribbons over the roadways). I even use them on my Tehachapi route.

You could try and load an unedited version of the route (one that has problems), and rename the Lofts.bin and Lofts folder so they don't load and see what things look like. That's how I narrow down basic problems for my own work.

It seems to be the loft of scaleroads ai traffic Marc. And this just happened with the 50.5 update. It has been fine all these years. I took the NERW for a run yesterday and it is happening to me aas well.

It is more than just scale roads traffic lofts. After adding a new scenario I found that the parking lot overlay ( with parking lines) in that area were floating in the air. I had run trains through the area before and did not have any problems with the parking lot or traffic lofts until AFTER I added a new scenario or modified an existing one.

I did not check before deleting the parking lot, but I believe that it was a decal.

Does the artifact/artifacts appear near to an intersection of tiles. You will need to activate the button in the World Editor to show the tiles. If you clear away nearby lofts and scenery, does the source of the artifact then eminate from the tile intersection?
