The Dash 8 and the passenger cars look nice, but the P42 does not.

Why are the side logos so huge?
Why is the front numberboard so dark?
Why are there American flags under the cab windows?

Looks like I'll be replacing a few textures on this with the G-trax paint. *!rolleyes!*

This may be the most excited I've ever been for TS assets. The Viewliners look great! Hoping for some Tri-Rail DLC. If not, I'm sure some nice people here could paint the LA/SD Bombardier bi-levels *!greengrin!*

In this picture the "dip"(is there a word for this? Dip sounds weird) seems a lot deeper than the photo.

I think you may have a point there, it seems like the "dip" over the prime mover as you put it might be a couple inches too high. (I know, I know--picking of nits.)

Oh well, it seems like a very nice model otherwise. It's neat to see more East Coast content being produced.

Looks to me like those are two different types of GE locos. Look at the venting at the rear.

@Buzz. That p42 looks like the side of the cab was cut away. I wonder if they had to extract someones? I doesn't look like anyone could have survived that.

Once again, haha don't know if anyone has seen this.

Looks like we won't get Tri-Rail with initial release. (But could change at anytime)
But seems like they know Tri-Rail exists, this is good I guess for future add-ons that is..

If you look at some of the blue station signs in some of the pics you will see the Tri-rail logo next to the station name. Maybe that means they have the license for Tri-rail and will release a tri-rail train set in the future.

At least they gave us aDash 8. A future repaint job, and one that will be nearly accurate.

People mentioned the Florida juice train. You guys may have see this, but I just saw it for the first time. Looks like a GE & CSX produced or sanctioned HD video from cameras mounted on the front of the juice train. Time lapse and real time of good chunks of the run. Very beautiful video in full screen. The rain section with signals was my favorite part. !!*ok*!!

Hmm I'm buying this looks very tempting, especially with those P42's.
IMO the paint looks worse than the G-trax rerelease. Hopefully the sounds will be reused from the P32 DLC with the air bell and K5LA. Certainly the baggage looks much better.

An excuse to not buy the Empire Builder pack ;) The rolling stock looks promising; can't wait to use the behind the NEC electrics!

Gotta have the BL36 and Hyundai Rotem trainsets be included too. ;)

I'm going to speculate (and hope :D ) that there will be a Tri-Rail add-on based on something Gary revealed in his excellent Engine Driver article. He stated that the route will include the Mangonia Park station! !!*ok*!! Since this station is the northern terminus of Tri-Rail service and there is not an Amtrak stop there, maybe DTG included Mangonia Park for Tri-Rail scenarios?

BTW, from the screenshots published so far, this route is looking sweet! !*drool*!

Maybe they're starting off with the Amtrak/CSX route, and then adding in the FEC line. Might explain things.

I doubt they'll include the FEC. That's a whole other animal.

!*whack*! !*hp*!

Why not? Those old sounds from G-trax are terrible.

My urge to buy this route when it comes out has dramatically decreased. *!sad!*
