That happened to me but I figured out the problem: turn on the RailSimulatorUS assets under Kuju in the scenario editor when writing a scenario. That only fixes it for a single scenario, however. A more permanent solution would be to go into the route editor on the Pacific Surfliner and turn on the RailSimulatorUS assets there. It worked for me and fixes other issues I've had with G-Trax models crashing my game. The problem is that the blueprints for a lot of the G-Trax products call for the couplers found only in the RailSimulatorUS assets folder.
If what you've done is stupid but it works, then it really isn't that stupid at all.
