Changing Track Rule

Unread postby BoostedFridge » Mon Jul 07, 2014 6:01 pm

Hi guys,

I'm looking to change the track rule on a route I'm working on. I'm using Scalerail, and was using the 'SR Default 133lb' track rule until I noticed that this track rule doesn't seem to display the gradient of a section of track when you move the mouse over it. I laid a section of track using 'San B to Bars' as a test, and this rule does display the grade properly.

I've searched on the subject, and it appears that I can change the track rule for the route globally using RW Tools, but I can't find any tutorial or directions as to how. Can anyone help me on this? Is there any other way to change the track rule without having to delete the track that I've already laid?

I've never had an issue getting the mouse-over to work.
Cheers!

It did seem a little odd, especially given how superior the track is in every other way. Any suggestions? I tried clearing the cache, and restarting.

I deleted the old track and re-laid it from scratch while still using the stock Scalerail track rule. Not sure what the problem might have been, but the mouse-over works fine now.
