razorwyre wrote:Well according to what im reading since the prior post that i had posted, it sounds like to me you have it under control, i had no issues with your older version of the route, and i had no issues with the SOO LIne route, nor have i had no issues with any of your rolling stock, So with that being said, im 90% sure im gonna purchase the New Version of it, But im not sure if id be able to handle the Articulated car issues, or has that be corrected since.. never the less im sure i could figure it out if not, im sure the awesome community could help me thru that. Keep up the great work Ian.

there's nothing wrong with the artic cars. You just have to put them on the tracks correctly. fear not it says how to in the readme. they exist in most of the new scenarios so take a look at how they are set up if you need. the cars go B-C-A or A-C-B. you need to flip the middle car if there's a noticeable gap in over the shared truck. Thanks

Not to mention there is a manual(that most people fail to read) to show you step by step, and an update that is as easy as counting 1-4.

That sounds good to me.
There doesn't need to be only one rwp package.
If all files are in one zip file, and the instructions are clear, then there is no confusion possible.

Delete 23.tgpcdx and i guess as well. Try verifying cache and restart your computer. Delete blueprint s.pak and restart railworks.

And always Check for PONTRACK.BIN. I know it's redundant by now.

@jean-pierre Currently im working on helping the few left with the crash issues. Ive yet to figure out if their issues are unique or similar to each others. I will patch the gp60 activities so that theres another loco in its place sometime this week when I get around to it. Right now getting the route up and running for everyone is priority #1.

Ok now If I could grab 1 or 2 volunteers who have a crash issue still after doing these 4 things to let me jump on their computer using a free program called teamviewer.

1. did you install all the files in order, including updates and freeware packs?
2. did you search for and delete all instances of PONtrack.bin files
3. did you do a verify cache, and do a search for and delete blueprints.pak in your railworks folder?
4. Did you restart your computer and try running another route and then run the seattle using this scenario: INTERBAY-TACOMA RUN(it is default to the route)?

IF you still get a crash then its time to let me investigate using teamviewer. its easy to install just hit run(you don't need to install it to your computer). You will email me after we both speak via PM or on this thread and your ready to give me the teamviewer computer ID and password to me privately. Its a shame it has to come to this but in order for me to identify the issue be it from my route or railworks itself I have to dig in. Keep in mind this issue appears to be a select few including myself at work, but I fixed that file.

Ian

Ok Just had a chance to install the posted fix and it has solved the texture crash from the old 23.tgcpdx file that I was getting on my work computer. So that does it. Any crashing from here is either a user missing a step in the instructions or on the TS2014 end. I have 1 user who has a crash unrelated to my route, it could have something to do with hin hitting the asset ceiling, which I think exists. he literally has a tremendous amount of assets. Just a theory as I exhausted every possible avenue to take with him other than just installing the route on a fresh install of the game. We'll see what he gets from that this week.

The route and assets work now.

there will be patches in the future to add/remove things, but as far as fixing it in order for it to run...no. The route is ready to run, unless there's a ts2014 issue on the users end. I tested this route on 3 computers and it now works on all of them.
