Milk Run

Unread postby jamesphh » Thu May 29, 2014 4:42 pm

Finished this first and have a few comments.
1} The coboose is reversed so that the porch faces the last car, easy to fix.
2} Is the any way to fic the awful sky dome besides DTG donig this? I have never seen the sun glow at 3:30 AM in my part of the U.S. And never have seen the sun rise at 5:00 AM.
Now for the good part.
A really fine route if a bit short, and great scenarios.. WELL DONE!!

Try foggy. Then the sky is dark. Other than that there are some other sky textures out there somewhere. DO you know how to install other sky stuff?

The sunrise and morning twilight isn't that far off, actually. On June 21st this year, sunrise in Green Bay will be at 5:07 am, and twilight begins at 3:42 am.

The days are looong when you get that far up north.

You can also stand on either porch by pressing the key again.

yes but you would expect to be facing away from the caboose when standing on the porch but in no way would I consider this a problem just a slight annoyance if that

It wouldn't matter, because you would be facing the right way in the beginning, then have to reverse the view at some other time. You have to switch ends, just like a real brakeman or conductor.

Ran this yesterday in 1:34. Very enjoyable scenario. Only thing better would have been to have authentic milk cars or reefers instead of boxcars.
