Looking to buy some addons

Ok well my wallet was stolen the other day but luckily it was returned with full money inside and i am looking to buy some routes or addons for Railworks, I know i need to get Horshoe, Donner and Stevens Pass, I am looking to get most assets needed to run 3rd party freeware and paywere routes that are coming up. What else should i get?

I will get that in the future but 1st i need some routes, only have Fort Kent and Portland Ive ran them to the ground, need something new.

I highly recommend you get the Scenic Sub (Steven's Pass). It too is made by Rick (as well as Michael Stephan and a couple others as the group called GNTX), and is extremely detailed like the Portland Terminal.

I have seen Steven's Pass videos and i really want it, especially hauling the Boeing plane parts, I also want the Sd70 v2 and SD40-2 wide nose addon and Eyein's Seattle route

If you like shunting, grab Ohio Steel 2 (by Rich Garber) that will keep you busy for quite a while. The VNHRR is also an outstanding route. I just did finally get Ian's Seattle Sub, haven't run it yet, but if it's like the Soo Line it's great work.

And if you don't already have it, grab that neat little GP20.

I may be in the minority, but I'm not a particular fan of either Horseshoe Curve or Donner Pass. They're both basically long runs at 30mph and not a lot to do.

Steven's is absolutely fantastic though. I'd also recommend on the free side the NERW route for a great mix of freight and passenger work.

VNHRR is another New England route that's excellent for switching. You can also make short passenger runs from Windsor Locks to Springfield. The Springfield yard west of the river is IMMENSE with two turntables. There are also two spurs to Suffield and Bradley Field where you can do much switching. If you like Ft Kent and PT you'll LOVE VNHRR. (IMHO, of course...)
V 1.0 is out now, and v 2.0 is in process which will take the line through Hartford. Check out their blog at http://vnhrr.blogspot.de/

I also spend most of my time in Marias.
I might spend more time with Horseshoe Curve, but the whole reason for it's existence doesnt' seem to exist. IE steam power. Well two engines.
I just recently found out the turntables on HSC are too small as well.
I drive Donner frequently as well, but I'm a S.P. fan from childhood.

Another option to help you decide what to get would be to browse the Steam Workshop for scenarios that might interest you. There are check boxes along the right side of the page for each DLC item available so you can filter selections by route, locomotive, trainset pack, or combinations of those. The only caution is that if you're searching by selecting a particular route, all scenarios that use content from that route will display - even if the scenario is run on a different route than the one selected.
